Mr. Sean

I was able to shoot Mr. Sean again recently. I have been taking his pictures since he was about 9 months old. It's amazing to see how much he changes in 6 months, not to mention over the last 6 1/2 years! He is definitely all boy! We may "argue," but I still love that kid!

Gentry Family

It's been almost 2 years since I've seen the Gentry family. The kids have grown up so much! I worked with mom several years ago at an elementary school. This time they brought dad with them and we took family portraits. The kids did a great job of doing what I asked of them. I hope you like your pictures, Gentry's. They're in the mail as we speak!

Twins!!!!

My good friend and co-worker, Karen, has wanted me to photograph these boys since their conception--literally. The boys were born in December and seeing how I only shoot outdoors, I have not been able to photograph them. Now the weather is warm and the boys are 6 months old. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them! It was fun to photograph these two sweet boys. Even though they are twins, they are far from being the same. Each one has their own little personality--one is very laid back and one is a complete ham in front of the camera. We didn't get many photos of the boys with mom, but we are planning to get more in the future. Thanks again Karen and April!

Sean Spring '13

Well, as Sean's mom reminded me, it was that time of year. Time to take Sean's pictures. This time he was more of a ham than usual. It became a battle of wills--whose will would overtake the other. I think we ended on a draw. LOL! I'm glad I was able to get some good shots of him with his mother. For once, she actually approved of the picture of herself! Enjoy!

Katie's Senior Pics

I have known Katie since she was in her momma's belly. We haven't always kept in touch, but she has grown into a beautiful, fun-loving young woman who happens to have Down's Syndrome. She has not let her extra chromosome keep her from doing the things she loves to do. If you ever get to spend time with her, she will have you laughing or singing country music or both. I know it was hard for her parents to raise a child with Down Syndrome, but it's even harder when you're teenagers. I have so much respect for her parents than they even know. Not everyone can deal with or take care of the issues that arise when you have a child with a disability, but they have. Against all the odds, they have raised her and now she is a senior in high school. Katie has reached and exceeded many obstacles that were set before her. She could only achieve those things with the love and support of her family. I'm glad, no I'm honored they asked me to document this special time in Katie's life and I hope you can get a little glimpse into the wonderful young woman she has grown up to be.

Good friends, Good times

Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot my great friend Lisa and her son, Ethyn. I haven't seen him since he was 5 and somehow he's now a 5th grader. He's such a handsome boy and was happy to see me. I was happy to see them both as well. She wanted pictures for their Christmas cards and the pictures turned out GREAT. We're definitely going to need to get together again soon.

The L family

My team member, and friend Jennifer asked me to do her family photos. I said yes and we immediately started planning where we would take the photos and what we envisioned them to look like. We were so excited! After chasing her son for an hour, I must say how excited I still am! They turned out great!! It also helps when you're photographing beautiful people too. Thanks Jennifer for asking me to do these photos. I had fun and really hope you like them! You gave me a big b
oost of encouragement today!
